About the Role:
K‐3BMI is seeking a hands‐on Accounting Manager for our corporate office located in Brookshire, TX. The Accounting Manager will be joining a team that brings decades of experience to the industry. The ideal Accounting Manager candidate should be an experienced, highly organized, self‐starter with a track record of thriving in a fast‐paced environment. The Accounting Manager will report to the Company’s founders and will manage a small team that is responsible for processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, monthly close processes, and ad hoc financial analysis. Full charge capabilities a minimum and be able to support the owners with current financial information in their business decisions as well as their contact with corporate CPA and financial entities such as banks.
Must be detailed enough to fill in at any desk in the office if needed but business minded enough to see the bigger picture. Further responsibility includes overseeing finance and accounting activities of other businesses managed by the owners of K‐3BMI. We are a privately owned corporation and value face‐to‐face workdays to build team trust and relationships. The position’s pay and benefits will be competitive.
Must live near Brookshire / Katy, TX, or surrounding area.


  •  Lead accounting department responsible for processing all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax, treasury, and audit functions

  •  Manage and execute the monthly accounting close processes

  •  Oversee and produce financial reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  •  Establish and lead an effective team of internal staff and third parties for bookkeeping, audit, and tax

  •  Develop benchmarks and key performance measurements for the financial performance of the Company

  •  Produce ad hoc financial analyses to offer insights into the operational state of the business

  •  Forecast monthly capital and operating budgets to be shared with Company leadership


Education & Experience:

  •  Highly proficient in MS Office Programs, strong excel skills required

  •  Experience with Quickbooks or other related ERP systems is required

  •  Solid knowledge of GAAP principles

  •  Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local tax requirements

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

  •  Five or more years’ experience in a similar corporate role

  •  CPA or CFA a plus, but not required
